Pregnancy with the help of a Doula

"Doula" is an ancient Greek word meaning "woman servant or caregiver", our understanding of this, is that we "Mother the Mother" offering continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the expectant mother and her partner during labour, birth and in the immediate postpartum period.

What is a Doula?

My name is Sarah Webb and my role as a Doula provides unconditional care, it is nurturing, instinctive, and provides a continuity of care throughout the Labour and Birth, therefore enabling a woman to have the most satisfying and empowering time that she can, whatever the Labour and Birth choices she makes.

Why use a Doula during pregnancy?

I will help with comfort measures, movement and positioning, breathing and relaxation, I will discuss Birth Options, Pain Relief, and can help you to compile your Birth Preference. My services include Private Antenatal appointments, Antenatal and Birth Package, Postnatal Consultations and Postnatal Support.
